The 49th Mystic by Ted Dekker

All the comments I have read so far about this book have said that the reader "couldn't put this book down!" Or, "I read all night until I finished it."   I had quite a different experience.

The 49th Mystic is a masterfully written, mind-bending, though-provoking, soul-searching read.  In it you will find suspense, drama, and action, but you will also find things that make you wonder about your own life and your own thought processes.  I don't know how Dekker does it... again and again and again!

My experience? I would read a few chapters and then have to stop and think about what was being taught in the seals. Sometimes, I would have to look up the references and Scriptures because I didn't know them already.  Then, I would have to look at my own life... am I living Inchristi?

While it is not necessary for you to have read any, if you have enjoyed other books by Dekker, specifically the Circle Series, then you will definitely enjoy this new addition to his works.
