Skeeter and the Mystery of the Lost Mosquito Treasure

Skeeter and the Mystery of the Lost Mosquito Treasure is the 12th in the Hermie & Friends DVD series by Max Lucado. Skeeter is about a mosquito with a crooked stinger who feels less than wonderful about himself and the way he was created. He doesn’t feel good about the way he looks and he believes that he can’t do anything right! To make things worse, he has a famous brother who can’t seem to do anything wrong. Skeeter’s friends are all in awe over his famous brother, Sir Sinclair M. Skeeto, who is a famous adventurer. Sinclair shows up looking for help with a mysterious treasure map left by their father. Can anybody help him find it? Can Skeeter? This DVD is based on Psalm 139:13-14, and children of all ages will be reminded that God made each of us unique and in HIS image.

This was a wonderful addition to the Hermie & Friends collection. The animation is wonderful, the voices are perfect and the message is from God. I showed it to the kids I watch on Sunday nights (ages 2 up to 10) and they loved it!! My own 8 yr old son has watched it several times and was singing along with Skeeter’s Dream song, and my 7 yr old son was excited to point out funny things along the way as we watched. Something that makes it even better is that it includes six coloring pages, computer wallpapers and sing-along to “Super Skeeter” and two extra games (Buzby and Flo games). The coloring pages make it a perfect DVD to use in a children’s church class or in an emergency for Sunday School.
