Life, In Spite of Me: Extraordinary Hope After a Fatal Choice by Kristen Jane Anderson w/ Tricia goyer

Life, In Spite of Me is an amazing story of hurt, depression and hopelessness that ends in hope. Kristen was brought up in a home of love and happiness, but a series of events took her to the depth of depression and sadness. She tried several avenues of "help" varying from alcohol/partying to psychiatric help, but none of them kept her from trying to take her own life.

Life is a quick read filled with sadness and HOPE. We've all dealt with depression or know someone who has... this is a great insight into what depression is really like. I believe this book is also a great encouragement to those who think all hope is lost. Buy several copies and pass them around... it will touch who it needs to!
