My Review:
This is the first "suspense/mystery" book I have read by Colleen, and I loved it!! I honestly didn't know "whodunit" until the very end, which to me means it was a GOOD book!
Libby is dealing with several things at once: finding out that her father was alive until recently, that she has siblings, that she inherited an Inn and that her friend has been kidnapped and she's the main suspect! That's a lot for one woman. Alec, the island's Coast Guard Lieutenant, has proven to be very helpful and there seems to be a hint of more than friendship, but his cousin, the police chief is less than friendly. Who can Libby trust? Who has taken Nicole and why? Who will help her find her answers? As she delves into the murkiness of her family history, she draws closer to God, Alec and even the answers to many of the questions she has about her life and future.
I would definitely recommend this book to others. It's a great, relaxing, clean read that is neither too preachy or mushy. Pick it up, pass it around and enjoy!
