My Review:
As We Forgive by June Foster is the second book in her Bellewood Series and follows Youth Pastor/Counselor Tim Garrett in is fight against his own anger issues, past hurts, as well as a battle within in the youth group that he doesn't quite understand, but is making him look bad.
I really enjoyed this book about real-life problems and struggles and the hope we can find in Christ. June has done a good job of conveying the inner thoughts of someone struggling with anger/unforgiveness and also someone who has issues with self-worth/shop-a-holic issues.
While As We Forgive is the second book in this series, I don't believe that it requires having read the first book. There is plenty of detail and information in As We Forgive to be understood completely. I would recommend purchasing both for an enjoyable read.

June Foster is a retired teacher who travels full time with her husband in their RV. Her adventures provide a rich source of information for her novels. She grew up in El Paso, Texas but moved to the magnificent northwest after she retired from teaching. She penned her first novel on her Toshiba labtop in 2010 as she and her husband sailed along the interstate. Now June has written four novels for Desert Breeze Publishing. ReplyDeleteThis was a good review and a good subject. sometimes it is hard to forgive someone, tho we try. I still think about those things from time to time and it still hurts. But, I love GOD and how would we do anything without HIM? Maxie ( mac262@me.com )
