Love Finds You in Glacier Bay, Alaska by Tricia Goyer and Ocieanna Fleiss, a review

Love Finds You in Glacier Bay, Alaska tells the story of Ginny Marshall.  Ginny is presented with the contract of her dreams... a definite boost to her singing career.  Before she signs on the dotted line and seals her future, she feels a pull to visit the past.  Her former fiancé, Brett Miller, lives in Glacier Bay, Alaska and she feels drawn to him to find some clarity on her future and what his take on what is best for her might be.

Ginny arrives in Glacier Bay to find Brett gone on a trip.  Brett's grandmother insists that Ginny must stay with her and Ginny concedes.  Grandmother Ethel draws Ginny in and endears her to the community and their surroundings.  Grandmother Ethel also chooses to share a box of old letters from the beginning days of Glacier Bay.  In the box, Ginny finds letters between Clay, an early missionary to Alaska, and Ellie, the woman who traveled there to be his children's governess.  As the story unfolds, so unfolds the love and healing that Ginny herself needs.

I really enjoyed Love Finds You in Glacier Bay, Alaska.  It's amazing how the authors go between modern day GB, Alaska and the 1920s GB, Alaska.  I loved reading the letters between Ellie and Clay and Ellie and her grandfather -- to see the hardships and the love that results from perseverance and endurance.  I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good, clean writing and a bit of a history lesson, as well as, a sweet romance.
