My Review:
Home at Last was a sweet, short read... that ended up not as sweet as I expected. When I have purchased the Heartsong Presents books before, they are normally what I like to call eye-candy: easy on the mind, sweet little one-nighters. Home at Last was not completely like that. Yes, it was sweet and romantic, BUT there was enough suspense and humanity to make it interesting and not just some sappy love story that leaves you with warm fuzzies or a toothache.
Home at Last deals with many different relationships-- father/son; foster parent/child; boyfriend/girlfriend. It also touches on abuse, mental illness, forgiveness, anger and love. It reminds us that only through the grace of God can we forgive and grow in our own lives.

What a beautiful cover! I am intrigued by the story and the fact that it wasn't quite what you expected. It sounds like it touches on a lot of deep topics. Thanks for the introduction. :)
