I'm Going to Give You A Bear Hug! by Caroline B. Cooney, Illustrated by Tim Warnes

I'm Going To Give You A Bear Hug! is an adorable children's book with a sweet poem of so many kinds of hugs... all the ones mamas give their babies (no matter how old they are!).  I read this book to my youngest daughter -- she is FAMOUS for her "Choking, not breathing" hugs (that her mama-- me-- taught her when she was just tiny).  The older she got, the more choking, not breathing these hugs became.  Hugs are a very important part of our love language!!

I'm Going To Give You A Bear Hug! is written sweetly and illustrated beautifully!! The partnership between Cooney and Warnes is a brilliant partnership.  This book is a pleasure to share with children, geared to the younger crowd (ages 4-8).   It's a great book for any caregiver, whether grandparents to grandchildren, parents to child or aunt/uncle/older sibling to younger child.  It's just so SWEET.
